The biggest discussion that happened until yesterday is nothing but the clash of two titans, Megastar Chiru and Nandamuri Balakrishna at the box office on this Sankranthi eve. Though many thought why didn’t Mythri Movie Makers postpone one of these two biggies to another date, none actually decoded the move. But then, Chiranjeevi has a different take on this.
“There is nothing like people watching my film Waltair Veerayya only in Sankranthi, but not in February. If the makers of the movie thought of moving Veerayya to the February release, targeting their own Uppena release date, I would have agreed to it. Release date is not a big deal if the content is good”, commented Chiranjeevi, about these two movies, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, locking horns. And why would Chiranjeevi agree to the postponement in case it is proposed?
“We have to keep the economical affordability of the moviegoer in mind. Even if all these releases turn out to be super good, the audience might not afford to watch them all in theatres considering the ticket prices”, Chiru revealed smoothly, a fact that many from the film industry should actually understand.
