Fireworks From Netflix On Sankranthi Eve For Tollywood

It looks like the world’s leading OTT platform Netflix wants to showcase the power of its muscle for the Telugu audience by acquiring most of the happening projects. Otherday we revealed that the streaming giant acquired Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya as well as Bhola Shankar, and here come the real and official fireworks, that give more kick than expected. 

On the eve of the Bhogi festival as part of the Sankranthi celebrations, Netflix has stunned everyone by officially confirming their upcoming Telugu releases that will be streamed post the theatrical release. Netflix announced that starting with Sandeep Kishan’s Buddy, Kalyanram’s Amigos, Sithara Entertainment’s Butta Bomma, Nani’s Dasara, Raviteja’s Dhamaka, Karthikeya’s next, Vaishnav Tej’s next, Naga Shourya’s next, Anushka’s next, Kiran Abbavaram’s Meter and the most talked about DJ Tillu sequel, Tillu Square, are acquired by them. 

That’s like fireworks as the streaming giant never makes such official announcements about the films they are acquiring much in advance. Especially when it comes to Telugu movies, this is the first time Netflix gave such fireworks and definitely it made the Sankranthi more special.
