One bad trailer is enough to kill the entire vibe around a movie and that is what happened with Om Raut’s “Adipurush” which features superstar Prabhas as Lord Rama and beautiful heroine Kriti Sanon as Seetha, while Saif Ali Khan played the role of Ravana. The movie team faced enough brickbats after the trailer launch, and that made them postpone the film by six months.
After missing out on the January 12th release date, Adipurush team confirmed that the movie will hit cinemas on June 16th, 2023. And yesterday, they started to trend the hashtag #150DaysToAdipurush as a special poster was released about the same. However, unlike previously, this particular hashtag hasn’t trended all over the country with Prabhas fans themselves not getting any kick out of it.
After the trailer got blasted by everyone for poor quality graphics and the way some characters are designed without being any close to what Ramayana depicted them like, fans are actually waiting for a new trailer to come up. Without giving the new trailer to fans, asking them to trend hashtags like this would be a blunder and that was proved the other day.
Until a new trailer with stunning VFX comes up, it looks like Prabhas fans are not interested in Adipurush.
