Balayya’s recent mighty blockbuster “Akhanda” got released in Bollywood other day and many predicted that it will become another blockbuster in the likes of Kantara and Karthikeya 2.
They felt that this film is going to entertain the northern audiences greatly for its content that is centered around aghoras and all. But then, here is what happened.
In fact, with no promotions at all, the film hasn’t got any attention from the Bollywood circles. But what startled many is that some people on Twitter are claiming that Akhanda Hindi version collected ₹7 crores gross on its first day. Even Balayya fans are going to gaga over the same, though this number is a purely fake one.
If anyone opens the booking websites of national multiplexes, immediately it comes to the clarity that there is not even 5-10% occupancy on Saturday as well, and that explains why the film never collects the ₹7 crores collection in circulation.
Especially there is this #BoycottGang in the North that is liking Akhanda a lot and they are speaking a lot about it on Twitter.
However, the film failed to do wonders like Kantara and Karthikeya 2 because it has no such divine connection in the first half, and also no proper marketing though backed by a big producer. From Monday, Akhanda Hindi version might not even find a place in theatres.
