Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Crazy Comment On Ratings

Sankranthi 2023’s mega winner Waltair Veerayya’s ratings and commercial success at the box office is not in sync. The film has collected massive and even the ’share’ from the 1st week touched nearly ₹100 crores.

Sharing that excitement with fans in the USA, when Chiru spoke to many of them through video calls, he made some interesting comments on the ratings given to the movie.

“Not to criticise anyone here, but actually when they have 2.25 ratings, we haven’t literally understood what they are talking about. But I’m confident that the film is like a full meal and it will cater to the needs of fans who are waiting for a celebration.

After the release of the film, I’ve understood that they have actually given a message that the film is going to collect $2.25 million dollars in the USA”, said Chiranjeevi in a zoom video call. That’s quite a crazy comment, isn’t it?

Looks like Megastar is happy that Waltair Veerayya did well and lived up to his beliefs and expectations on the content irrespective of how the ratings and reviews are. Many are wondering if the commercial formula that Chiranjeevi rolled out is something only he could understand better than directors who are making movies with him.
