This Song Is No Match To Ramulo Ramula

Ever since the trailer of Karthik Aryan’s Shehzada is out on the internet, there is a strong comparison between the remake and the original Telugu movie Ala Vaikuntapurramlo. Except for those Hindi fans who haven’t seen the Telugu original featuring Allu Arjun, the rest of the folks are not feeling great about this remake for the now.

Other day, another song that goes by the lyric Chedkhaniyan got released, which comes in Shezada in place of ‘Ramulo Ramula’ song. Everyone knows that Ramulo Ramula has literally shaken up YouTube as well as the theatres after the movie’s release. Be it for the tune composed by Thaman or for Allu Arjun’s dance moves, the song became an instant blockbuster. Coming to the Hindi version’s Chedkhaniyan, Arjit Singh’s voice and Pritam’s music make it a good song, but definitely, it is not having that blockbuster vibe of Ramulo Ramula song.

The song’s making is cool but it is missing out on that dance factor as well as the peppy factor. At the same time, heroine Kriti Sanon is quite glamorous and she could easily steal the light away from Pooja Hegde who did her role in the original. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada hits cinemas on Feb 10th, 2023.
