Writer Padmabhushan Mints Huge Profits

Suhas’ wholesome family entertainer Writer Padmabhushan got unanimous positive talk from all corners and the movie is raking good numbers at the box office too. In its first weekend run, the movie grossed 5 Cr+ worldwide, which is massive for a small time movie. Moreover, it was the first theatrical release for Suhas. On the other hand, the movie collected over 200k in overseas.

The total investment was 4 Cr which includes the costs of print and publicity. Zee bought the digital rights, including satellite rights for an amount which put the makers in profits, much before the release of the film. Talks are on for remake rights too.

As per trade analysts, Writer Padmabhushan will have a long run and the makers cleverly released the movie on commission basis. Overall, the movie mints huge profits for them.
