Trailer Talk: Young Boy Fell In Love With Christy

The heroine of superstar Prabhas’ upcoming movie “Raja Deluxe” is now making waves for another reason. She is none other than Malavika Mohanan, who is popular for her ravishing picture shoots on Instagram. Though she debuted as a leading lady in commercial cinema with Tamil hero Vijay’s Master movie, somehow she didn’t get the applause, but not anymore it looks like.

Malavika is now playing the role of Christy in the upcoming Malayalam film “Christy” whose trailer was released other day. Needless to say, the film reminds many of Ye Maya Chesave where a younger boy falls for an elder girl, but there, the age difference is not well pointed out.

However, in Christy, we have that age difference clearly visible and the guy who calls her sister actually falls in love with her. The breezy visuals, seaside backdrop, and looks of the lead actors including Malvika and Mathew Thomas are catching the attention now.

Despite the fact that she has no big dialogue in the trailer, Malavika is impressed with her presence. If this film, directed by Alvin Henry scores a hit, then no doubt the heroine will get major admiration in Malayalam circles. And if she scores a couple of such hits before the release of the Prabhas-Maruthi movie, surely her graph will grow big in Tollywood as well.
