Star producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments opened on many trending topics including this Friday’s release of Danush’s SIR, #SSMB28, Producers Council Elections, his fashion sense, rumours and much more.
In an exclusive interview with Gulte.com’s Lokesh Bandi, Vamsi explained how they tried to address the problems of the education system through ‘Sir’, in an entertaining and commercial way.
“What kind of entertainment (comedy) is there in RRR or Kantara? They are engaging films, and so is SIR movie which is centred on the major issue of the education business. But then, this is not a message-oriented movie but a purely commercial film that has 3 fights, 5 songs and emotional highs” says Vamsi.
Confirming that Nithin is not present in #SSMB28 in a special role, Vamsi also clarified that they have issues with the fighters union while shooting Mahesh Babu’s film’s first schedule, and says that they found a middle ground finally.
He further answered many questions like why they did not go for Thaman’s music for Sir, why Jersey failed in Hindi and why Butta Bomma did not work in Telugu, and many more. The star producer revealed why DJ Tillu director had to exit from Tillu Square, and the truth about Anupama Parameswaran’s spat with the hero of the film.
