Producer Reveals Why DJ Tillu Director Quit

There has been a number of rumors about DJ Tillu’s sequel ever since it was announced. DJ Tillu was such a big surprise blockbuster, and the sequel Tillu Square is highly anticipated now. One of the rumors that stayed long in headlines is that the director quit the movie because of differences of opinion.

The producer of the movie, Naga Vamsi in an exclusive interview revealed what actually happened behind it. According to Naga Vamsi, Vimal Krishna did not want to do Tillu Square as he is not getting the kick to do a sequel as an immediate film after DJ Tillu and instead he wants to do a fresh film. Vimal Krishna was replaced by Mallik Ram of Adbhutam fame later.

The producer also opened up on rumors about Anupama Parameswaran walking out of DJ Tillu because of quarrels between her and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Naga Vamsi simply ruled it out saying it was just a silly rumor because Anupama had not even visited the sets when that rumor was spread.

So, that’s the producer addressing the widespread rumors about Tillu Square. It has to be seen how the Tillu Square shapes up and if it is going to be equally enthralling as the first part.
