One of the popular discussions in the recent times is about the possible star cast in the remake of Malayalam hit film “Ayappanum Koshiyum” which happens to be a runaway hit there. Though the premise of the film is a bit simple, it might reach a new level, if star heroes take up the Telugu version.
During the initial days of discussion on this remake, rumours used to circulate that Balakrishna Nandamuri and Rana Daggubati are being considered for the roles with Balayya playing the role of Sub Inspector and Rana as the anti-hero who happens to be a high-headed rich guy. Later, it has come out that Raviteja agreed to play the lead role, but other hero is yet to be found.
However, other day, Sithara Entertainment which owns the remake rights of the Malayalam film, has released a Happy Birthday poster for Pawan Kalyan, where they have chosen a hill station backdrop for the whole poster. Going by that, one could understand that Pawan has said to Ayappanum remake and Sithara is on the hunt to find the other hero to feature in the movie.
Other than his indirect confirmation, there is no official word from Sithara about this remake till now.
