Noted actress Geeta Singh’s son passed away in a tragic road accident. The news was officially announced by Geeta’s friend and another noted artist, Karate Kalyani.
In her latest post, Kalyani wrote, “Children! Please drive safely when you are going on a bike or a car. Comedian Geeta Singh’s son passed away in an accident. Om Shanti.” It is heard that the accident took place in Karnataka. More details are awaited.
Geeta is not married. It is heard that she adopted her brother’s sons. The elder one among them died in this road accident. Many of her industry colleagues, fans and netizens are sending their condolences to Geeta and her family. They are praying for the young soul to rest in peace.
Geeta Singh used to be a busy comedian in the late 2000s. She shot to fame by acting as the female lead in Allari Naresh’s blockbuster film Kitha Kithalu. Later, she went on to act in more than 50 films which include Evadi Gola Vadidhi, Sasirekha Parinayam, Seema Tapakai, Sarrainodu and Kalyana Vaibhogame.
