Good Chance For Lady Choreographer To Make Big

We have seen many choreographers debuting as film directors after they reach their prime. That happened with the likes of Prabhudeva, Lawrence, Ganesh Acharya, Sajid Khan and many other dance masters. And here comes popular lady choreographer Brinda Gopal who is on the same path, and getting ready to test her luck for the second time.

Brinda master is known for her lovely dance compositions in Tollywood as well as Bollywood. She debuted as a director recently with the film “Hey Sinamika” which featured Dulquer Salman and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. She’s now coming up with a massy movie ‘Konaseema Thugs’ that has Hridu Haroon, son of star producer Shibu Thameens debuting as a hero. This film is being released in Telugu states next week by Mythri Movie Makers, who have plunged into the distribution game recently with Chiru and Balayya’s films. And that’s why Brinda got a big chance here.

No big movies are releasing next week and there is only the competition of Dhanush’s Sir and Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu right now at the box office. As ‘Konaseema Thugs’ is sounding like a well-made mass film that deals with the story of a prisoner, any slight brilliance would work in favour of the film and Brinda might grab a big Telugu project immediately. Will she prove it? Her debut film Hey Sinamaka hasn’t done so well at the box office.
