Right now, one of the super talented and costliest character artists we have in Tollywood is none other than Rao Ramesh. While he had humble beginnings in Telugu Film Industry, today he rose to a position where he pockets ₹7-10 lakhs per day and earned the tag of highest earning character artist down the south. The likes of Prakash Raj and Krishna Baghawan who used to be quite busy during their prime days, have suddenly stopped doing their thing and become lead actors. While Prakash opted for a couple of art movies which he directed as well, the likes of Krishna Baghavan became heroes in some comedy movies. Later on, their career didn’t go as planned as big directors stopped calling them. And right now, even Rao Ramesh is getting ready to play a leading man’s role in an upcoming film.

He will be seen as “Maruthi Nagar Subrahmanyam” in the film titled the same, which is being directed by Lakshman Karya of Konidela Niharika’s Happy Wedding fame. The film has former heroine Indraja playing the female lead. Many industry experts are right now thinking that this costly artist is doing the wrong experiment at a right time.
