Young beauties’ forgettable debuts in Tollywood

We see various young actresses making their debut in Telugu cinema every year. But only a few of them manage to attain stardom. This month, we have seen three actresses making their Telugu debut and there was a lot of buzz around them. But unfortunately, none of them managed to score a hit.

Anikha Surendran made her Telugu debut as a lead actress in the film Butta Bomma. Though Anikha’s performance was praised, the film ended up being a disaster at the box office. Thus, it remained a forgettable debut for her.

Kannada actress Ashika Ranganath made her Telugu debut with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Amigos. There were many expectations around this movie. However, it failed to impress the audience and ended up as a flop.

Tamil actress Gauri Kishan made her Telugu debut with Santosh Shoban’s Sridevi Shobanbabu. Right from the beginning, there was no buzz around this movie and even after its release, people didn’t care about it. Thus, a talented actress like Gauri had a forgettable debut in Tollywood.
