The news of people doing a dharna to show them a film for free is surely going to surprise everyone. But then, with Dhanush’s SIR, directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Sithara Vamsi having this education system and fee structure backdrop, some school kids are doing dharnas, demanding the producer to show them the film for free. In Khammam, students of a school took part in this dharna and here is the result of it.
It is coming out that producer Naga Vamsi indicated all of the students and schools who want a special free show of the film to put a mail to them, such that they would arrange the screening.
This is quite unique because no producer who wants to make money would arrange for free shows, but then, some producers believe that creating content is not just about entertaining people for money, but sometimes, showing them their creations for free such that it creates awareness.
On the other hand, Dhanush’s SIR has become super successful in Telugu as the film already posted more than ₹30 crores gross collection. And with these free shows, surely the film is likely to get more attention as there are no biggies in the race for another couple of weeks at the Telugu box office.
