Whenever heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu appeared with that sacred thread around her neck in Telugu and sometimes in Tamil films, she scored a blockbuster. Though a couple of movies didn’t work, the married girl tag worked out for her most of the time. And it looks like she is going for that again.
In films like Manam, Majili in Telugu, and Theri, Super Deluxe in Tamil, Samantha appeared as a married woman, with that Mangalsutra around her neck, and she scored blockbusters. Quite unexpectedly, in Vijay Devarakonda’s Kushi as well, which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana, the hotshot actress is going to appear as a housewife in the second half of the film for a time. They say that it will be one epic sequence and everyone is going to like it big time.
On the other hand, previously in Shiva Nirvana’s Majili as well, Samantha appeared as a married woman in the second half, and her screen presence got great appreciation. We have to see if she will get similar applause in Kushi as well. But then, can the audience get to see those crazy commercial dance moves of Samantha in this film? Going by her looks, it may not be possible.
