In the last 1 week, there almost 10+ interviews of this former heroine all of a sudden, thereby clogging YouTube. And many are wondering why this beautiful former actress is giving lots of interviews all of a sudden. Yes, we are talking about Vijayawada beauty Laya who quit the film industry years back.

For movies like Swayamvaram and Preminchu, this Telugu girl has shot to huge fame, but she retired from films in her mid-20s, got married, and settled down in the USA. Though she made a guest appearance in Sreenu Vaitla’s Amar Akbar Antony, she didn’t receive any accolades. However, Laya is all of a sudden doing lots of PR as many YouTube channels and some TV channels did some interviews now. What’s the reason behind this?

Some say that 40-year-old Laya, who is working as an IT consultant in the USA while her husband is a Doctor, is actually eyeing to comeback into Telugu films big time. Though heroine roles will not come to her, she is said to be thinking to do some interesting character roles. But then, such roles either need age or glamour, and Laya is short of both. That’s why Tollywood folks are confused now.

Or Laya might get offers to play heroine opposite senior stars, and we have to see if she will readily accept them.
