The highly anticipated Naatu Naatu dance performance at the Oscars received a tremendous response.
The dancers’ team nailed it with the perfect sync and with the actual steps from the Prem Raksith composed Naatu Naatu song. Singers Rahul Simpligunj and Kaala Bhairava recreated thei vocals from the original soundtrack and more than 20 dancers enthralled the audience with their stunning dance and energy.
The whole crowd at the Oscars enjoyed the song and they were on their feet after the song was performed. The energy and the song garnered a standing ovation at the Oscars.
Deepika Padukone gave an introduction to the song calling it ‘a total banger’ and also ‘the first song ever from an Indian production to be nominated for an Oscar’
