There are some good movies that have Pan India appeal but failed to do well in other languages due to a lack of promotions. Actors and filmmakers mostly restrict their publicity in other languages to hardly two to three events. That strategy won’t work out to attract the northern as well as audiences of other southern languages.
However, Nani and his makers are following the right strategy to promote his film Dasara at the Pan India level. He gave nearly one month just to promote the movie. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri who made the movie on a lavish budget is not compromising with regard to promotions as well.
The trailer of Dasara was launched in Lucknow. Nani is visiting various places in the country and interacting with the local media for the last 10 days. That doesn’t mean that he is ignoring the home turf.
The teaser of Dasara was launched in Hyderabad and Nani already gave various interviews to FM stations, websites and will be seen in different TV programs to be aired during Ugadi. What’s more, a grand pre-release event is planned here.
This is definitely a perfect strategy to promote a Pan India movie and both Nani as well as producer Sudhakar Cherukuri must be appreciated for that. What do you say?
