Pinnelli’s Jail Terms Are Because Of Those ‘Their Days’!

Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy, who was arrested in connection with the double murder case of TDP leaders, was released on bail today. He is out of jail after spending 99 days there. This is his second jail stint in this Government. Previously, he was arrested for destroying an EVM machine on the polling day.

He received a grand welcome from Nellore District YCP President Kakani Govardhan Reddy, MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, and YCP activists.

Subsequently, he addressed the media and alleged that the case was illegally and unjustly foisted upon them but it was actually because of clashes between two factions of the Telugu Desam Party in Gundlapadu village, Velthurdi Mandal.

He pointed out that, given the ongoing power struggle within the TDP, the Superintendent of Police (SP) had visited the village a month prior to the murders. Pinnelli lamented that they were deliberately targeted and unjustly implicated in the case.

“Exactly 99 days have passed since my arrest. I have been subjected to unlawful detention. Our day of reckoning would certainly come. When that day arrives, there would be absolutely no question of sparing anyone—regardless of who was behind these events. Whether they be politicians or officials, everyone involved would be held accountable before the law,” Pinnelli said.

He further stated that they had been subjected to immense mental anguish. But then, the former MLA should understand that their days have already come and were passed.

On such days, Pinnelli and other YSR Congress leaders were blinded by power and there were no end to their atrocities.

We have seen him try to alter the verdict of the People by destroying an EVM on the Polling Day. That was the extent of misuse of Power and show of strength on ‘their day’.These jail stints are the results of such ‘their days’ of the past.

It is better Pinnelli mend his ways at least now, the TDP supporters are saying.
