Natural Star Nani is one hero who stands apart from other star heroes in terms of his script selections. No two immediate films in his career will be of the same genre. Even after attaining stardom, Nani didn’t stop experimenting with different genres. He says that his stardom should not control the choices he makes.
Speaking in an interview with The Hindu, Nani said that he doesn’t want to become a huge star hero to the extent that his stardom decides the scripts he chooses. He stated that the box office pressure should not limit his freedom in choosing different kinds of scripts.
“I should not be pressurised by statements like the entire country is looking forward to watching my movie. Those kinds of statements will compromise my decisions. It will not let me tell the stories I want to tell,” said Nani in the interview.
Currently, the actor is awaiting the release of his new film Dasara. Directed by Srikanth Odela, this movie features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. It is slated for a worldwide release on March 30.
