Bad Phase Continues To Haunt Young Hero

Sometimes all it takes is years to get a proper film again to get a hero’s career back on track. Though this young hero is having the muscle and offers to sustain himself in Telugu Film Industry even though flops are adoring him big time, he should really think about his picks quite carefully from now.

Like how a Kiran Abbavaram and Santosh Shoban are tasting back-to-back flops these days, even Naga Shourya is not getting any respite from that happening. His latest movie Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi is not getting any good response from any quarter and on Friday night itself most theatres were damn empty. With this, the film joined the likes of Ammammagarillu, Kanam, Narthanasala, Aswathama, Varudu Kavalenu, Lakshya and Krishna Vrinda Vihari, which have ended up as duds at the box office. Only Samantha’s Oh Baby is an exception for the actor in terms of box office results.

With bad phase haunting like this, surely Naga Shourya needs to understand where he’s going wrong in terms of script choices and narratives. Though he has two more films in the pipeline that are getting ready to hit cinemas, these many flops might hamper his career big time as it happened in the case of Varun Sandesh and Raj Tarun earlier.
