The trend of the two parts has got the attention of South films. Films like KGF and Pushpa emerged as blockbusters giving much hype to their respective sequels. That’s the case when the first part emerges as a sensational blockbuster and what if it is otherwise? Here comes that case.
With three Kannada superstars in lead roles, the Kabzaa movie was released last weekend and it turned out to be ‘heavily inspired’ by KGF, but only in style and not substance. Kabzaa was washed out in other languages and is struggling in Kannada too.
Kabzaa also was planned to be made in two parts. Upendra plays the lead role in the first while Sivaraj Kumar comes in the climax and Kicha Sudeep appears in a short role. It looks like the makers have planned the sequel to have more from the two superstars.
Kabzaa was denounced as a disaster for its narration and mainly the KGF hangover. With the result of the first part, it has to be seen if the makers are still willing to make a sequel for it.
