RX100 Director Not Keen On Samantha?

News has already come out that hero Sharwanand is teaming up with RX100 fame director Ajay Bhupati for their next project. While the news is doing rounds as a rumour from a long time, finally producer Anil Sunkara has agreed to bankroll it at an astonishing budget, and hence the official news got out.

Earlier, there were reports that the director is trying very hard to rope in Samantha for the film. Back in the day, Ajay Bhupati tried for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, and somehow the film didn’t materialize then. But now, the director is said to be not considering Samantha as the leading lady of the film for a reason.

Apparently the director is said to have felt that there will be no magic in Samantha and Sharwanand’s pairing now as the film “Jaanu” has failed big time. Their pair neither created attention, nor they are able to pull the box office numbers. Keeping that in mind, Ajay Bhupathi is said to be trying for another popular heroine now. By next Monday, the selected heroine will be announced.

On the other hand, Ajay has recently recovered by Covid-19 and immediately dived into the works of his second film.
