Two weeks back actress Taapsee walked on the ramp at Lakme Fashion week and the ‘PINK’ actress sizzled in a red revealing outfit and she grabbed all the eyes at the show. However, the necklace that she wore has now become a center of controversy.
Apparently the necklace worn by Taapsee had the sculpture of Goddess Lakshmi and this hurt the religious sentiments of Hind Rakshak Sangathan. BJP MLA Malini Gaur’s son Eklavya Singh Gaur lodged a complaint against Taapsee claiming that the necklace’s design violated religious emotions and spreading obscenity.
Based on the complaint, the Madhya Pradesh police lodged a case against Taapsee and have launched an investigation. The picture of Taapsee with the necklace is still on her Instagram timeline.
Surprisingly the jewellery was from Reliance Jewels’ and it is a collection of Akshaya Tritiya. Taapsee endorsed it like any other celebrity but if at all she was to be blamed for wearing it, then ultimately the jewellery designer should be booked.
