However, Dil Raju who is also called Nizam King for his grip on the market in the Telangana region completes 20 years in the industry as a producer. Initially, he started as a distributor in partnership with his brother Shirish. After becoming successful as distributors, they grandly ventured into film production with their first movie Dil becoming a blockbuster. Then Dil became the surname of Raju who made movies under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Dil Raju who studied the market well has good judgment skills on the script which is the prime reason for his successful journey. He has been making movies according to the trend and his main interest was family entertainers. Bommarillu was a game-changer for Dil Raju who later made many successful movies under the genre.

The ace producer introduced several skillful directors like Sukumar, Boyapati Sreenu, Vamshi Paidipally etc. who now are successful filmmakers. He also introduced Shirish’s son Ashish as a hero with Rowdy Boys.

The name and fame Dil Raju got for his successful journey is no less than the popularity of a star. He also won a couple of National Awards for Maharshi and Shatamanam Bhavati. However, Dil Raju won much appreciation for backing a family drama Balagam which gives a good message on family bonding. His daughter Hanshitha Reddy and nephew Harshith Reddy together produced the movie on Dil Raju Productions.

The star producer ventured into the Tamil industry with Vijay’s blockbuster movie Varisu (Vaarasudu in Telugu). Dil Raju is familiar to almost every movie lover because of the kind of movies he made and the high success rate as a producer and distributor.

Dil Raju is now producing the most expensive movie of his career Game Changer starring Ram Charan with Shankar directing it. He also lined up some interesting and exciting projects and also has plans to make some content-based small-time movies on Dil Raju Productions.
