Shruti Haasan Objects To The Trend Of ‘Dancing In Snow’

It has been a trend for the last many years where the hero and heroine will be dancing in the snow for a romantic duet. While it looked beautiful for the audience as the stars wear bright colors in the stunning locales, it is mainly the heroines who suffer the most in that part.

It is clearly evident that the heroes get to wear comfy jackets and coats while the heroine has to be in a chiffon saree revealing their midriff and have to dance the steps according to the tune. Many actresses earliest expressed their reluctance in doing the ‘snow dance’ songs, Shruti Haasan too opened up on it recently.

Shruti Haasan who is known for her straightforward talk said the trend of dancing in freezing cold should stop. In a recent video, Shruti is seen discussing dancing amidst the negative temperatures. ‘I completely dislike dancing in the snow. The hero can wear a jacket but we don’t even have a jacket, coat, or shawl.. absolutely nothing. We only have a blouse and saree to wear in the snow. I would like to make it a petition, the request people to stop doing that.’

The internet is saying she’s got a point and the trend should stop immediately. One could quickly recall that the most recent snow dance of Shruti Haasan is from Waltair Veerayya with Chiranjeevi. Yeah, Chiru wears a jacket but Shruti dances in a saree!
