SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is a game-changer in Indian cinema in many ways. It broke all language barriers and paved a pathway for pan-India films. It also started the pan-India sequel formula, which is followed by other pan-India hits like KGF, Kantara, and Pushpa.
Rajamouli managed to end the first part of Baahubali on a cliffhanger. The question, “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?” became the selling point for Baahubali 2. In the case of Sukumar’s Pushpa, the first part didn’t have a cliffhanger ending.
Everyone who watched the film knows that there will be a face-off between Pushpa and Shekawat in the second part. So, there wasn’t any selling point in the story. Thus, Sukumar came up with a striking idea. Recently, his team released the video “Where is Pushpa?”
The video showcases that Pushpa went underground, and his movement was captured in a forest. Along with the video, the makers also released the first-look poster of Allu Arjun in which he donned the getup of a Goddess.
This video and the poster generated a huge buzz around the film. Now, people are curious about Pushpa’s disappearance and how he makes a comeback into the smuggling world. On the whole, Sukumar followed Rajamouli’s idea and brought a huge buzz to his film.
