A few days back, it was reported that Jr NTR will be acting as an antagonist in Yash Raj Films’ upcoming film War 2. Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role in the project, and Ayaan Mukherjee of Brahmastra fame directs it. The film will be a part of YRF’s Spy Universe.
However, there is no official confirmation from the makers about this project. Meanwhile, B-Town media reported that Deepika Padukone would be seen as the female lead alongside Hrithik in this movie. The latest buzz suggests that Alia Bhatt will be playing NTR’s romantic interest.
Both NTR and Alia acted together in RRR. They were supposed to act together in NTR 30 but Alia backed out due to her busy schedule. Now, it looks like they are joining hands for War 2. As of now, all reports about War 2 are rumours and we have to wait for an official announcement from the makers.
Meanwhile, NTR has recently started shooting for NTR 30, which is being directed by Koratala Siva. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in it. The film is slated for a grand release on April 5, 2024.
