Income tax sleuths have conducted raids on director-producer Sukumar and production house Mythri Movie Makers. Since today morning, IT officials in separate teams started search operations in the offices of Sukumar and Mythri producers. However, these raids are not just conducted on the offices. IT officials this time started raids on the residences of Sukumar and producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Yalamanchili.
Sukumar is a popular director but he has his own production banner Sukumar Writings. His film banner collaborated with various productions and producing films jointly. Sukumar Writings next production is Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha which is slated for theatrical release on April 21st. In this backdrop, these raids on Sukumar’s residence and producers houses have gained significance.
Income Tax officials are yet to reveal the details of outcome of search operations. Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling highest budget film Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun.
