Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan opened in theaters with an extremely underwhelming performance. The movie collected ₹15.81 crores on day 1 and it is one of the very low openings for Salman in the last 10 years with his Eid releases.
Salman’s Dabangg in 2010 collected ₹14.50 cr and Bodyguard in 2011 collected ₹21.60 cr which were the lowest opening days of the actor’s Eid releases so far. All other movies like Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Race 2, and Bharat opened with more than ₹20 cr at least.
In a strange comparison, the Telugu Twitterati is bringing up our actor Nani’s Dasara movie collection on Day 2. Nani’s Dasara collected nearly ₹ 38 cr on the first day and this disaster movie of Bhai opened with less than half of it.
The reviews all overrated Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as a below-average movie. The movie is ridiculed for its comedy, logicless scenes, boring drama, and obviously over-the-top scenes. The lack of freshness and silly characters blended with cringe-worthy comedy worked towards Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan to attain the disaster talk.
