BO: Horrifying Numbers On Day 3

In a surprising turn of events, the horror thriller “Virupaksha” has taken the box office by storm with its positive word-of-mouth, defying the traditional notion that audiences have little interest in this genre. The film, set in a unique setting, has already emerged as a resounding success in the Telugu states and across the globe.

The trade reports say that the film collected an amount of over 20 Cr rupees share in the first three days. The collection amount in the Telugu states itself is 16 Cr which proves that the Telugu audiences are always first to encourage good content.

Meanwhile, the film collected a gross of over 37 Cr rupees in the three days of its release. The film is performing well in the USA as well, with a gross of $726k (Rs 6 crore) in its first weekend alone, making it Sai Dharam Tej’s highest-grossing film to date.

Samyuktha Menon played the leading lady of the film. The film is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu.
