Heroines Using ‘Search Screenshots’ For Subtle Satires

It has been a long journey for many talented actresses in male-dominant film industries across the world. Not just the characters they get, but the questions they get to answer in the press meets are also different from what their male co-stars. In one of those instances, Rama Banam actress Dimple Hayathi was asked a ridiculous question during the press meets and her answer is the best.

Dimple Hayathi was asked why her character is appearing to be ‘vulgar’ though there are family scenes in the movie for her. Obviously irked by the question, Dimple chose the cool way to answer that and said, ‘Vulgar? I have not seen any vulgar or similar scenes or glimpses from the movie. There were no glimpses that suggest the vulgarity were released. In fact, the songs and even the posters have me in fully covered attire. I don’t understand what you meant by vulgar here.’ Director Sriwass took it from her and told him that the dress she wears at the press meet reveals her character in the movie.

Dimple Hayathi later took it to Instagram to give a subtle satire to the person who questioned her about ‘vulgar character’. She searched it on Google and posted the screenshot of that search on her Instagram story to let him know the meaning of what he asked her.

In a similar post, actress Samantha also posted a screenshot to send a satire on a producer who made passed some serious comments about her after Shaakuntalam failed.

Dimple’s Ramabanam is releasing on May 05th and Gopichand is the hero of the movie.
