This Is What Raashi Demanded From KJo

Raashi Khanna has been an established actor in the Indian film industry for over a decade. Despite her talent and glamorous look, she’s yet to get her big break across both Bollywood and Tollywood. Recently, she appeared in Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi web series which is now available on Amazon Prime and got good reviews.

However, she has expressed recently in an interview that her aspirations of working in a Karan Johar production came to fruition when she landed the leading role in Yodha. She is grateful for being given the opportunity to play a strong character in such an esteemed film company, yet was still surprised to discover her role would not require her to dress up in beautiful sarees or portray a typical “pretty” and “happy” heroine. Comically appealing to KJo, she has asked him to cast her in an upcoming project where her ensemble includes swirling sarees and a classic Dharma Production heroine.

On the work front, Raashi has a total of three projects in the pipeline. Apart from Yodha, she is also signed on for Arnmanai 4 and a yet untitled film by director Pa Vijay. Recently she proved her mettle with Farzi web-series too.
