Pushpa: The Rule movie in the highly successful Allu Arjun-Sukumar series is set to be one of the most expensive productions in India.

Both creative talents have hiked their fees after seeing the success of their first instalment. Fans all over India are eagerly awaiting more updates and announcements about this upcoming blockbuster.

According to the sources, due to its immense popularity, Pushpa makers are commanding top dollar for non-theatrical rights. There is a great deal of demand for Hindi rights, and the audio rights of the film were sold at an astonishing Rs 65 crores.

This would be the highest figure ever among Indian movies; previous hits such as RRR, Saaho, and Baahubali 2 pale in comparison with RRR sold for 25 crores, Sahoo for 22 crores and Baahubali-2 for 10 crores. With such generous amounts being thrown around, Pushpa is guaranteed to stay atop the list of most profitable films.

T Series has supposedly committed to a generous investment for the upcoming action thriller, Pushpa: The Rule. During a recent meeting in Mumbai with Bhushan Kumar, the filmmakers and T Series signed an agreement. Details as to whether or not T Series will possess sole distribution rights to the movie remain unclear; however, it is estimated that Pushpa: The Rule will be released during the summer of 2021.

Significant segments of this cinematic production will be filmed across Bangkok and Europe. Several acclaimed actors are featured in prominent roles such as Rashmika Mandanna, Fahaad Faasil, Anasuya and Sunil. Mythri Movie Makers is tasked with producing the feature film while Devi Sri Prasad composes both score music and background score for the project.
