Is Niharika Back on Track?

Mega daughter Konidala Niharika and Chaitanya Jonnalagadda were married on 9 December 2020 in Udaipur’s Oberoi Udaivilas, with a luxurious event. Following the nuptials, the actress took a significant absence from her career in films — instead choosing to only work in production under her Pink Elephant banner. Additionally, she was seen attending various youtube events alongside her husband. But after rumours of divorce surfaced, her involvement in both events greatly diminished.

She has recently been in the spotlight for her glamorous social media presence and for spending time with her girl gangs. Her fans are eager for her to return to the big screen, and some expectations started that she could be doing a special role with cousin, Superstar Allu Arjun in his upcoming movie Pushpa. On the other hand, Disney Hotstar has recently premiered a teaser of Niharika’s upcoming web series which is an adaptation of the popular British comedy series, Dead Pixels.

The show stars Niharika and follows the journey of three young friends in Hyderabad who are obsessed with an online video game. They attempt to conquer a virtual villain and all while comically depicting how their passion for gaming interferes with their day-to-day lives. It’s sure to be an intriguing watch as these four gamers face various issues along the way. Also that marks the return of Niharika to the film-track after a pause post her marriage.
