After making several popular films including Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya, producer Lagadapati Sridhar launched his son Vikram Sahidev as hero with the youthful film Virgin Story. The film directed by Pradeep B Atluri released in cinemas on 18th Feb, 2022. The movie failed to get critics appreciation and theatre audiences.
While Virgin Story failed to catch the attention during its theatrical release, the youthful romance is now getting noticed on OTT. The coming-of-age romance is said to be catering to youth audiences. Starring debutante actor Vikram Sahidev and Sowmika in the lead roles, the film revolves around ONS (One Night Stand) of a young couple. This theme and bold point is said to be garnering interest.
Within the first week of the release on Aha, Virgin Story has clocked in over 10 million watch minutes, as per reports. Couple of songs in the film got noticed in the film. Achu Rajamani has composed the songs and background music. The film has a hidden message as well.
