Post the disappointing box office performances of Acharya and Godfather, Megastar Chiranjeevi has chosen to proceed cautiously in his career. However things changed, following the success of Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi has been back on track and lining up projects at an impressive pace. He appears to be utilizing a formula that worked for his previous movie Waltair Veerayya.
The last movie Waltair Veerayya, made in collaboration with Ravi Teja, was well-received by movie fans due to the rare combination it presented. Usually, Chiranjeevi only works with his son Ram Charan on cameo appearances; however, audience approval of Waltair Veerayya’s new collaborations has been impressive. And he decided to use the same formula, as one update reveals, his second collaboration would be with Siddhu Jonnalagadda from DJ Tillu fame.
Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, the director of Soggade Chinni Nayana, recently pitched an interesting script to Megastar Chiranjeevi. After an enthusiastic response from him, the pre-production process is now underway. The script demands a young actor for a role, for which Megastar has proposed Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s name. As Siddhu is occupied with Tillu Square at this moment, an official confirmation regarding his involvement is yet to be made.
Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi recently gave his approval for another new movie project, helmed by Mallidi Vasishta of Bimbisara fame. Details about this upcoming film will be released soon. Furthermore, filming for Chiranjeevi’s current project, Bhola Shankar is targeted for August release.
