Producers ‘Cheaper’ Bets on Agent Director?

Agent is outrightly rejected by critics and audiences alike. Not bogged down by such disaster talk and heavy criticism, director Surender Reddy’s life and work seems to have no major impact. As per industry insiders, Suri has got advance payments from a couple of big producers. Two noted producers have given cheques to Surender Reddy for future collaborations, said a source in the know. One of the producers is known for his close connections with Mega family and Mega Star himself, added the source. 

This is usually unheard of. After such a bad talk and poor reviews and all are finding fault with director Surender Reddy, some producers are coming forward to take such a huge risk and hence giving advance payments to Suri. Earlier, director Sreenu Vaitla too received flak for his back-to-back disasters yet he managed to get several opportunities to bounce back. However, Sreenu Vaitla misused all the opportunities and all his chances turned out to be failures. 

We have to wait and see whether Surender Reddy would bounce back and rise like a phoenix. Will he make a strong comeback or will he end up as other senior directors who are on downhill of their careers.
