Creating biopics is an established practice in Tollywood. Yatra, a biopic about the late chief minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy, was produced in 2019 prior to the elections. Mahi V Raghav directed the production, which helped boost YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s political ambitions—YSR’s son, Jagan.
At a press conference earlier, Dulquer expressed his willingness to play the part of Andhra Pradesh’s current Chief Minister YS Jagan if approached by filmmakers. Recently, reports have been circulating about the potential for a biopic in anticipation of the upcoming Andhra Pradesh general elections.
And the new twist in the tale is that Tamil actor Jiiva has been approached for the YS Jagan role in the sequel film ‘Yaatra 2’ which will be directed the same filmmaker who carved the original. We’re curious to see what unfolds!
It’s natural to wonder whether a sequel to Yatra will be produced by director Mahi V Raghav. Additionally, it is uncertain which actor will take on the role originally portrayed by Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
