Usually in commercial movies, a protagonist fights an antagonist. Most of the movies end up with the hero killing the villain. But, that’s not the case with the story of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Custody with Venkat Prabhu. The makers launched the theatrical trailer of the movie to disclose what is it all about.
It’s the story of a sincere constable A Shiva who doesn’t go against the law, at any circumstance. He has no qualms to stop political leaders. He is in love with a girl who is about to marry a guy of their parent’s choice. In the meantime, he is assigned to protect a criminal from his opponents and also to produce him before the court.
The trailer alone gives an edge-of-the-seat experience. This is definitely not a regular actioner. Venkat Prabhu came up with a novel story and presented it in an engaging manner. Naga Chaitanya played his part effortlessly as an honest cop who goes to any extent to do his duty.
Krithi Shetty played the leading lady and she looked beautiful. Arvind Swami looked brutal as the antagonist. The trailer also shows Priyamani, Sharath Kumar, Sampath Raj and few other characters.
Srinivasaa Silver Screen is producing the movie on a grand scale and the visuals looked lavish. SR Kathir’s camera work is just brilliant, while Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score elevates every sequence.
Judging by the trailer, the makers have a potential winner on hand.
