Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the work of his upcoming film Bholaa Shankar. It is slated for a worldwide release on August 11. Meanwhile, we hear that Chiru will team up with Soggade Chinni Nayana fame Kalyana Krishna for a new movie.
According to the sources, this will be a remake of the Malayalam film Bro Daddy. The original version featured Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. They played father-son in the movie.
While Chiru plays the role of Mohanlal, the makers are in search of a young hero to fill in the shoes of Prithviraj. We hear that the likes of Vijay Deverakonda and Siddhu Jonnalagadda are in consideration for the role. One of them may get finalised soon.
After his comeback, Chiru stuck to commercial films and romancing young heroines like Tamannaah, Kajal and Shruti Haasan. He is receiving criticism for the same. Maybe that is the reason why he decided to do Bro Daddy’s remake as it suits his age. An official announcement about this project is expected to be made soon.
