Talk Of The Town: Abhinav And his Comedy Timing!

The Telugu film industry has always been accommodating space for comedians. Since its inception, we have seen many comedians shining in in-numerous films. Some of the legendary comedians in Indian cinema are from Tollywood. Such is the legacy of comedy in Telugu cinema.

In the past, we used to have iconic comedians like Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Sunil, Venu Madhav and Ali. But after their prime stage ended, Telugu cinema failed to get such gems of comedians.

There are many comedians like Vennela Kishore, Saptagiri, Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna, but their longevity is very less. Moreover, the likes of Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna are focusing more on serious than comedy roles.

But there is one comedian who looks very promising. We are talking about Abhinav Gomatam, who shot to fame with Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. Unfortunately, after that film, no other movie used Abhinav to his full potential. Finally, it was the web series Save The Tigers which explored the genius comic side of Abhinav. He is the show stealer in this hilarious web series. With his subtle yet hilarious antic, Abhinav completely owned this show.

He is one of the major reasons for this show’s success. Maybe at least now, we hope that filmmakers utilize this impeccable talent of Abhinav.
