The film industry is a strange place. One must score consecutive hits to cement his/her place in the tinsel town. Even a disastrous flop can tank an actor’s career. Young beauty Sakshi Vaidya is in such a position now.
Sakshi made her debut with Akhil Akkineni’s recent film Agent. Directed by Surender Reddy, this action thriller became a massive disaster at the box office. Sakshi, who came from a humble background, pinned a lot of hopes on this project. However, the film ended up as a forgettable venture.
Even Sakshi didn’t get any accolades for her performance in the movie. No one even remembers her character after watching the film. So, in order to make it big in the industry, Sakshi now needs to score a blockbuster.
Her next release will be Gandivadhari Arjuna, which stars Varun Tej in the lead role. Praveen Sattaru is directing the project. Sakshi bagged this offer while Agent was in the shooting stages. The success of Gandivadhari Arjuna is crucial for Sakshi’s career. It may make or break her career in the film industry.
