Akkineni Trio: Time To Introspect & Adapt Change!

Akkineni heroes are scoring back-to-back flops leaving fans in despair and disappointment. Nagarjuna who once enthralled audiences with his romance and comedy films took a shift towards action and cop films and failed miserably to engage audiences owing to poor choice of scripts and directors.

Nag made films like Officer, Wild Dog and The Ghost which is a trilogy of disasters that were outrightly rejected by audiences. Even Bangarraju didn’t work for Nag unlike Soggade Chinni Nayana. Certainly it is a challenging period for Akkineni patriarch and the seasoned actor to make a strong comeback at the ticket windows.

Naga Chaitanya too is going through a rough phase. While he had films like Majili, Love Story (Average) that worked at BO, he made some wrong choices. Thank You and the latest release Custody have disappointed the fans. Even Chay’s attempt to do a Hindi movie Laal Singh Chaddha didn’t yield the desired result.

Coming to Akhil, he is yet to score a proper success in his career. He started his career with disaster Akhil. Barring Most Eligible Bachelor, Akhil couldn’t deliver so far. Even MED was an average grossing film, but credit goes to Pooja Hegde, director Bommarlllu Bhaskar and Geetha Arts. His recent disaster Agent is considered as the mother of disasters since it incurs about 80 to 90 percent losses to its distributors and stakeholders.

Amidst this, Akkineni fans are pleading with the stars to introspect and adapt to the change where new-age heroes and other actors are making it. It is high time, the Akkineni trio pay heed to their fans and choose good scripts and right directors.
