Summer is one of the biggest seasons for film releases. But this year’s summer has been counterproductive for the industry with no proper hits. Only Dasara & Virupaksha was a hit.
After Virupaksha, we had seen three disaster Fridays. Agent, Ugram, Ramabanam, and Custody have disappointed the audience big time. Public is longing to watch a good movie in theaters.
This situation can be handy for Santosh Sobhan’s Anni Manchi Sakunamule releasing on 18th. The trailer released the other day left a feeling of a feel good entertainer with entire family. More over, films of such genre have not come in a long time.
On the top of everything, it is coming from the stable of the makers of Mahanati, Yevade Subrahmanyam, and Sita Ramam who have a lot of good will in the audience. If the movie pulls off a decent talk, it will be a golden opportunity for Santosh Sobhan.
