After Oh! Baby, director Nandini Reddy is returning to cinema with Anni Manchi Sakunamule. It took nearly 4 years for Nandini to bring the film to the light. Nandini is quite confident about the way film shaped up.
Nandini says, “The climax of Anni Manchi Sakunamule is the best climax I have written in my career. The last 20 minutes of the movie is going to stand out. I’m very excited to see audiences reaction for these portions.”
Set in a village of Victoriapuram the film revolves around a coffee estate and the feud between two families. Nandini says the story has been evolved and progressed over the years and shaped up well. Nandini is all praise for Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair. She says the couple excelled in the craft and breathed the life into the roles. Director says she strictly stick to the story and did what the story demanded. Nandini says she has no extra dialogues or forced scenes. She gives credit to writer Lakshmi Bhupal who wrote natural dialogues.
Responding to rumours that a big hero has turned down the movie citing lack of action scenes, Nandini begs to differ. She said the film was not rejected by any and no one asked her to include fight sequences. Nandini says action can’t be included in the story. Nandini also praised music composer Mickey J Meyer who gave space to her film’s narration. The film bankrolled by Swapna Dutt, Priyanka Dutt is releasing on May 18th in cinemas.
