Waltair Veerayya was a big step up for director Bobby who earlier directed movies like Venky Mama and Sardaar Gabbar Singh among others. Though a routine commercial format entertainer, Waltair Veerayya worked well at the box office opening more doors for Bobby.
It looks like the director is making hay while the spotlight is on him. He bagged a movie with Balayya and it was rumored right after the release that Bobby is in talks for a movie of NBK. And finally, the combination is locked and the NBK109 announcement will be made on June 10 on the occasion of NBK’s birthday.
Well, it is heard that Bobby first narrated a story to Superstar Rajinikanth, but the latter was really not impressed with the line. Bobby later got a nod from Balakrishna in a single sitting. Apparently, Bobby has pitched the same story to NBK that was turned down by Rajinikanth.
It has to be seen how this story of Bobby turns out. Sithara Entertainment will be producing the movie NBK109.
