Is Samantha Distancing From Telugu Movies?

Queen bee Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back to form after recovering from myositis and is giving top priority to work these days. After shooting for Kushi songs in Turkey, she has flown to Serbia to take part in the action-sequences shoot of the Citadel Indian version web series. At this point of time, a talk is being heard in film circles that she is getting distanced from Telugu movies.

Reportedly Samantha is very much interested in women-centric films or pan-India films these days but not regional movies they say. While she is quoting pretty high remuneration on one side, she wants projects that will release in multiple languages and make it big across the country.

For that reason, many filmmakers who want to cast her opposite stars in the Telugu industry are not said to be approaching her as sometimes she is not even able to give time to listen to the story narration.

In the past, many heroines have got distanced from Tollywood after finding a foot in Hindi cinema. From Taapsee to Ileana, Rakul Preet to others, many left the Telugu industry completely after getting offers in Bollywood though only a few of them actually succeeded. But actresses like Kajal Aggarwal and Tamanna always find their way back into Tollywood even after Bollywood stints. We have to see what happens in the case of Samantha.
